Mercy Children’s Hospital—Springfield was established in August 2009 and is currently a joint effort of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. The St. Jude Affiliate Clinic at Mercy Children’s Hospital brings comprehensive cancer treatment to southwest Missouri, so kids and their families don’t have to travel far for care. As a St. Jude affiliate clinic, we offer world-class pediatric cancer care, including clinical research trials. Our team works collaboratively with hematology and oncology experts at St. Jude in Memphis to deliver exceptional and compassionate care for our young patients.

About Mercy Children's Hospital
Mercy Children’s Hospital—Springfield is southwest Missouri’s only comprehensive children’s hospital. Located inside Mercy Hospital—Springfield, Mercy Children’s offers the region’s only burn center, a St. Jude affiliate clinic, and Level I Trauma Center. The 12-bed pediatric intensive care unit and 28-bed inpatient care unit are staffed 24/7 by pediatric intensivists, a pediatric nurse practitioner and chemotherapy-certified pediatric nurses. There is a 28-bed Level 3B NICU staffed by neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners. We provide pediatric physical, occupational and speech therapy (inpatient and outpatient), Child Life, pastoral and social services, nutrition services and home health. All of this is supported by 20 different pediatric specialties, including pediatric hematology/oncology, pediatric neurosurgery, pediatric endocrinology and pediatric surgery.
